Here is Matanuska Thunderfuck (sometimes called “Alaskan Thunderfuck”), a new variety to our shop which has origins all the way back to the early 1980’s Alaska and is believed to be an Indica-Sativa hybrid containing some genetics from California.
We’re pleased to bring this elite clone-only variety to the shelf and hope you’ll come in and try it — keep an eye on our Facebook page to get the latest on this strain’s arrival and much more!
Kunduz Afghani purple pheno… on the way to the store very soon! This one was hand-selected by our master grower from a large seed population direct from Afghanistan.
Leaf surface of our Kunduz Afghani — this region of Afghanistan from which this seed stock originated is known especially for its superb hash production, and this plant is an example of a wonderful hash-making strain. The thick covering of trichomes on the leaves make it a high-yielding variety, and the potent Indica-dominant effect is perfect for relaxing at the end of the night.
On the shelf soon at Natural Remedies - LoDo’s Dispensary!
Bob Saget (Hanis x S.A.G.E.)
This is our new harvest of our master grower’s creation, Bob Saget. This strain combines his Hanis (Kunduz Afghani x [Pre-‘98 Bubba Kush x 1994 Positronics Haze]) and a select Ft. Collins S.A.G.E. cut — the single seed popped from that cross yielded “The Bob” (as we call her).
She smells like superglue vindaloo with strange hints of smooth sweetness, similar to creamy chocolate. The flavor is a match to that crazy combination of smells, while the effect is VERY uppy to start (taking after the Haze in the lineage), and then normally comes with a gradual decline into relaxation by the 2nd hour.
If you’re a Colorado medical marijuana patient, you can come meet Bob Saget at Natural Remedies. Unfortunately, the rest of the world will have to wait.
“Red Headed Stranger” by Paco, grown by master grower Tierra Rojo. This strain is a cross of an heirloom 1994 Williams Wonder mother crossed with several Tom Hill’s Haze males. The plant shown here is wholly different than the others, stacking calyxes like few plants we’ve seen. She has a fresh Hazy eucalyptus scent and we can’t wait to see what her effect is like… we’re betting it’s uppy!
This is our Dawg’s Waltz, which is getting the chop today or tomorrow, right at the peak of potency. Notice all the cloudy trichome heads… that’s THC at its peak!
We’re bringing a variety of long-flowering Sativas to the table later on in this harvest. Schrom is one of the ones we’re most excited about, a strain that the “real heads” know well but isn’t seen much in dispensaries due to the long flowering time.
Romulan x Colombian Gold is the pedigree — this is definitely headstash material, and reportedly makes particularly amazing BHO. It’ll be a while, but this one is well worth the wait!
The legendary Super Silver Haze at about 35 days into flower… coming soon to Natural Remedies.
Keep up with us on Facebook and/or text “REMEDIES” to 91944 to receive VIP texts and specials as the new strains hit the shelf.
Dawg’s Waltz is a very potent Indica-dominant hybrid made up of the legendary Purple Urkle clone and JJ-NYC/Top Dawg Seeds’ strain Tres Dawg, which is a Chem D backcross. This one combines the best of the sweet Purple and the acrid Chem families and normally finishes deep purple.
Ours (pictured above) is a little past 4 weeks into flowering and already stacked with trichomes. This strain will be one of the earliest arrivals from the new harvest along with our Purple, East Coast Sour Diesel x Deep Chunk, and Pre-‘98 Bubba Kush!
