Leaf surface of our Kunduz Afghani — this region of Afghanistan from which this seed stock originated is known especially for its superb hash production, and this plant is an example of a wonderful hash-making strain. The thick covering of trichomes on the leaves make it a high-yielding variety, and the potent Indica-dominant effect is perfect for relaxing at the end of the night.
On the shelf soon at Natural Remedies - LoDo’s Dispensary!
Meet our Sativa entry for the 2012 High Times Denver Medical Cannabis Cup, the Red Headed Stranger (Williams Wonder x Tom Hill’s Haze). This rangy Sativa went almost 100 days even in the flowering room and represents one of the more pure Sativa lines we work with… we think it has a great chance at this year’s cup!
Don’t forget to come into the store starting Monday the 16th to try some of our entries for yourself! Keep up with us on Facebook for all the Cup and 4/20 Week news!
This is our Indica entry for this year’s High Times Denver Medical Cannabis Cup. Hope to see you all there! We’ll be releasing limited quantities of some of our cup entries starting on Monday, so stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates!
Williams Wonder, a classic strain from Williams, Oregon — it was made famous by its inclusion in early The Seed Bank catalogs and has a variety of different forms as a result. Ours is a fairly old cut which has moderate hybrid effects rather than straight-up Indica relaxation.
Get it while it’s still in stock at Natural Remedies!
Mob Boss “Thinner” — a select Mob Boss (Chem D x Tang Tang) phenotype from GrindHouse Seeds chief breeder “Steele Savage”, now available at Natural Remedies.
Bubba D aka “303 Kush” at approximately 60 days of flower
Bubba D is Pre-‘98 Bubba Kush crossed with a Reservoir ChemDawg IC3 male. Now on the shelf at Natural Remedies.
Bob Saget (Hanis x S.A.G.E.)
This is our new harvest of our master grower’s creation, Bob Saget. This strain combines his Hanis (Kunduz Afghani x [Pre-‘98 Bubba Kush x 1994 Positronics Haze]) and a select Ft. Collins S.A.G.E. cut — the single seed popped from that cross yielded “The Bob” (as we call her).
She smells like superglue vindaloo with strange hints of smooth sweetness, similar to creamy chocolate. The flavor is a match to that crazy combination of smells, while the effect is VERY uppy to start (taking after the Haze in the lineage), and then normally comes with a gradual decline into relaxation by the 2nd hour.
If you’re a Colorado medical marijuana patient, you can come meet Bob Saget at Natural Remedies. Unfortunately, the rest of the world will have to wait.
Bubba D aka “303 Kush”
(Pre-‘98 Bubba Kush x Reservoir ChemDawg IC3)
Indica-dominant hybrid
On the shelf now at Natural Remedies! This Colorado creation improves upon the potency and “head” of the Bubba thanks to the Chem influence, but the smell and flavor retains some of the wonderful mocha-coffee sweetness and musk of the mother.
“Red Headed Stranger” by Paco, grown by master grower Tierra Rojo. This strain is a cross of an heirloom 1994 Williams Wonder mother crossed with several Tom Hill’s Haze males. The plant shown here is wholly different than the others, stacking calyxes like few plants we’ve seen. She has a fresh Hazy eucalyptus scent and we can’t wait to see what her effect is like… we’re betting it’s uppy!
Our master grower’s creation “S.D.D.C.” is now on the shelf at Natural Remedies. This strain combines the uber-potent and stinky original East Coast Sour Diesel clone with a Tom Hill Deep Chunk, which adds some sweetness and a heavy Indica influence.
This one is an “up then down” strain, starting off very cerebral and heady then transitioning into the strong relaxation of Deep Chunk. Smells like tires and skunks, with a hint of sweetness.
